Reviews

AudioFile Magazine...
In a breezy audio collection, the inimitable Dr. Laura reads three of her popular books about the stupid things women, men, and couples do to mess up their lives. She's a brilliant writer on human frailty, and she's especially sharp about the craziness that invades us when we fall in love. Though her glib smugness (something most radio personalities acquire with age) is distracting at times, this excellent compilation still proves that Dr. Laura is one of our most astute mental health teachers. Her brand of freewheeling confidence is a welcome change from the compensatory puffiness heard in many author-narrated mental health audios. An entertaining and immensely engaging lesson. T.W.
